It looks like I haven’t actually used any of my photos from Castle Rising yet, so it was definitely time to add one. My visit there was in some of the worst weather I had on that trip, but that meant I basically had the place to myself! 🙂
The castle dates from the 12th century and in Tudor times it passed to Thomas Howard, Duke of Norfolk and it has stayed in the Howard family ever since.
Great photo and the Howard family is very interesting!
