Upcoming Books, Exhibitions, and Events for February 2022

Books

A couple of books that were released at the end of 2021 in the UK will come out near the end of February in the US.

First up, Crown & Sceptre: A New History of the British Monarchy by Tracy Borman:

And Richard Mackinder’s Bosworth: The Archaeology of the Battlefield will be released on the 24th:

And we’ve got a few new releases this month as well! It looks like things are maybe finally starting to get back on track.

Amy Licence’s latest book Tudor Roses: From Margaret Beaufort to Elizabeth I will be out in mid-February in the UK and later in the spring in the US:

And next is Cecily Bonville-Grey – Marchioness of Dorset by Sarah J. Hodder. I’m not sure there has been much written about Cecily so this is good to see! It will be out near the end of February in the UK and in early March in the US.

And finally, House of Tudor: A Grisly History by Mickey Mayhew will be out on February 28 in the UK and in May in the US.

New Exhibitions

The Tudors: Passion, Power and Politics opened at The Holburne Museum in Bath at the end of January and will run through May 8.
