Upcoming books and exhibitions

Just a couple of books to mention this time –

Claire Ridgway of The Anne Boleyn Files has released her second book, The Fall of Anne Boleyn: A Countdown. US and UK Amazon Kindle editions linked below:

And probably one of the most eagerly-anticipated historical fiction books this year, Bring Up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel is out on May 8 and May 10 in the US and UK respectively.

Royal Devotion: Monarchy and the Book of Common Prayer

Boleyn Festival at Blickling

Blickling Hall in Norfolk will be holding a festival of all things Anne Boleyn from May 17 to 20.

  1. I see Professor Bernard is making an appearance at the Boleyn festival, to “explain his controversial theory and justify his belief in Anne’s infidelity.” Wonder if he’ll be subjected to a barrage of tomatoes, especially as ticket prices “include a glass of wine” …?
