In fact, there is a Tudor portrait (1603) in the Sarah Campbell Blaffer collection in Houston. There are, as well, at least two Stuart portraits in the collection, although this list does not include them as I decided to limit it to the year of Quenn Elizabeth’s death.

Oh, look at that, I totally missed it when I first scanned through the list! I’ll have to keep that in mind the next time I’m in Houston. When I’m over there it often involves a trip down to the museum and zoo area, so I’ll have to stop in the MFA and take a look!
