I’ve wondered about that too. The dress is based on the Holbein miniature that is often said to be of her, but I’m not sure what the facial features are based on. They don’t seem to be obviously from any of the images associated with her.
That’s what I was thinking–the outfit seems really similar to the miniature but the face isn’t much like that painting at all….Really pretty dress though–I love seeing full length period clothes like that.
It’d be nice to know where the features for this Kathryn came from seeing as there isn’t really any ‘official’ portrait of her.
