Joss Stone back as Anne of Cleves

I’ve been seeing various short articles coming through my news alerts saying that Joss Stone will be back as Anne of Cleves during the 4th season of “The Tudors”. I haven’t seen any information on how many episodes she’ll be in though.

  1. Well, it only makes sense (though that isn’t a given in this series.) Henry was actually quite generous and friendly with Anne of Cleves after their divorce.

  2. Yes, I take it as a good sign, actually. If nothing else, I’m sure they’ll have something about her visit to court at New Year’s (?) when she danced with Kathryn Howard.

  3. Yes, Lara, I think it was at a New Year’s celebration where she supposedly danced with Kathryn Howard.

But considering they treatment they gave to William Compton and Thomas Tallis in the first series and George Boleyn and Mark Smeaton in the second, I really fear for what we are going to be in store for….(I sincerely hope I’m wrong about this.)

  4. season 3 isn’t even out here in the uk.I will not be on air until august in England. It will be interesting to see how the next episodes and series go.I wonder who will be playing Catherine Howard and Catherine Parr?!
Also I wonder who will be playing Thomas culpepper and Francis Dereham!
    Also Henry Mannox.
Cant wait for episode 3 and episode 4 to show here in the uk.

  5. Tudorrose- Catherine Howard has already been cast with Tamzin Merchant. Parr won’t show up until season 4, so she won’t begin filming until next month at the earliest. She’ll probably only be in the last half or so of the season, so pictures of her might not leak til later.

  6. I just finished watching the entire 3rd season On Demand. I’m interested to see if they continue to film the reigns of Henry VIII’s heirs, Edward VI, Jane Grey, Mary I and Elizabeth I. The problem that I have with the series is that I tend to constantly check my facts and correct them as they are portrayed, within the series.
