My comment is that poor girl (Anne B) was set up by her own family. After watching this show I began digging a bit myself just to see if what I was watching held any water. wow its following it rather close, of curse there has to be some creativeness. But still following it.
In being my own families historian and doing our family tree I have found that there was alot of mistakes or hidden truths. I for future use I fixed the mistakes and told the truth. Why hide them once done what can change it (nothing), none so bad it would scar us.
I believe that the truth is being uncovered, Anne B. to me was a bad person, rotton to the bone, oh just she deserved it. But since watching this, and doing my own investigation, well my attitude towards her has changed 100%. I hope it has cleared up a few things for others as well.
Something else to ponder on, our medical knowledge is so much more vast now then in the 1540’ish, I wonder if Henry had gotten a STD in all his affairs during the pregnancy of his daughter. Symptoms: the boil that would never heal, his declining health, the so called deformities of his son, his tantrums, his mood swings. Sounds quite like something of an STD, only a thought. Its to bad that there is no way to do testing to prove or disprove that one. It would not blacken his name but give more understainding to the whys and whats. The damage some STD’s to do the mind and body is amazing. She is having her life relived and lots of answers answered, why not him.
have a great day and I look forward to watching The Tudors, going to buy last season and when possible this season and all the rest of the seasons as the become seasons.
The paper traiil will tell the truth, even if they got rid of hers, theirs still remain.
