Glad you’re featuring Gainsborough Old Hall – I’m giving a lecture there next week. It’s a pity it’s off the main tourist track – if it was in London or York it would be a famous tourist attraction. A lovely house.
Katherine Parr lived here with her first husband and Katherine Howard visited with Henry (and Culpeper) in 1541.
