I received an email about a new book on the whole Tudor dynasty that is coming out next year (apologies to the person who sent it… this post was accidentally still sitting in my drafts folder!). I don’t have any additional information about it and there isn’t much on the Amazon page, but I’m sure more will come as the publication date gets closer.
The usual Amazon pre-order links below:

It looks like a nice book to have on a shelf, but you get to a point (when you’re an avid researcher like me and other Tudor buffs) where books like this just say the same old stuff you already know.
I put it on order anyway! 🙂 It’s pretty.
My problem is that I’m running out of shelf space again already, even after cleaning out some when I moved last year!
I think that this will be a book for me,as I am a Tudor enthusiast. 🙂
I found a GREAT book called “The Tudor Chronicles” by Susan Doran. Especially great was the fact it was on the ‘bargain shelf’ at our local bookstore.
It runs from the beginnings for Henry VII to the endings of Elizabeth I. Excellent script and marvelous pictures-some never seen before. The book really compiles the life of the Tudors in an easy fashion and is quite the page-turner. Heavy though…I think I’ve permanent dents in my thighs!
