This has been sitting in my “draft” folder for a while, so of course I now have forgotten who pointed this out. The image below was taken from the video tour of an exhibit at Hampton Court this year for the Henry VIII 500th anniversary events.

Notice the death date for Mary?
One wonders how these things get past an inspection.
Mary Tudor died on the 17th November 1558.Where did 13th of september 1558 come from? It obviously has to be an error.
I contacted historic royal palaces about the error. The contractor painted the wrong date. It was corrected, but the photography for the virtual tour was completed before the error was fixed
