Season 3 of “The Tudors” premieres April 5

I think the premiere date has been out for a while, but I just haven’t gotten around to posting about it.

Here’s the trailer for the new season:

  1. The trailer really doesn’t say anything, does it 🙁

Have read that Season Three is only 8 or 9 episodes…not like the ten each for season’s one and two. Also, the ‘rumor mill’ has it that Jane Seymour is being played by a different actress than the one who so disturbed Annie One in season two. Again, as Showtime isn’t in this house, it’ll be YouTube for significant scenes later on in the year.

Thanks for posting, Lara. The series may not be ‘his’torical, but it sure is ‘hys’terical 🙂

  2. I’ve heard 8 episodes as well, but I haven’t heard anything about a new J.S., but I haven’t really been following the buzz much. Too many other things to keep up with!! 🙂

  3. yes, a new actress will portray jane. i did read that somewhere, but can’t remember the website. haha forgive me!

  4. I don’t know about the number of episodes, but I’ve read on a few blogs that the new Jane Seymour is Annabelle Wallis. Rumor is the producers were very unhappy with the acting of the other Jane.

  5. Henry VIII was such a Rock Star. And I think it was a wise choice to keep a “thin” Henry. Frankly, I think viewers would drop like flies if they put a fat suit on JRM and made him look all pasty…
