This is a magnificent book. A truly wonderful, deep look into the life of Mary Boleyn, before she became mistress of King Henry VIII and after she was cast aside for her sister Anne.
It follows her education in France, her friendship with Princess Margaret, her tempestuious relationship with Will Carey and her secret passion and developing romance for William Stafford.
The reader gets pulled into the beutiful world that Mary lives in, and partakes in her ups and downs…even falling in love with Williams Stafford as she does (I know I did)…
This book follows the same general period of The Other Boleyn Girl, but it is so much more about Mary’s life, as opposed to Anne’s life rom Mary’s point of view. Definetly a must-read for those who love Mary, wan’t to kow more about that her life may have been like or really want to immerse themselves ina story of true and undying romance.
