And I only have two stories to post this week, but I guess that&#8217;s better than nothing. And really not relevant to anything, this past Thursday was the 8th anniversary of this blog as a blog (as opposed to the static &#8220;news and events&#8221; page it was previously). Hard to believe it&#8217;s been that long!<\/p>\n<p>* <a href=\"http:\/\/www.historytoday.com\/blog\/2013\/03\/april-issue-history-today\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">In the April Issue of <i>History Today<\/i><\/a> &#8211; The cover story features Derek Wilson writing on Henry VII&#8217;s time in exile (a big part of Henry&#8217;s life before Bosworth that I find quite interesting)<\/p>\n<p>* <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/artanddesign\/2013\/mar\/06\/v-and-a-henry-viii-exhibition-royal\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">V&#038;A shows Henry VIII&#8217;s stone leopards <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News has been slow and I&#8217;ve been really busy so there haven&#8217;t been many posts lately!
