I&#8217;m particularly intrigued by the fatal maypole accidents&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>* <a href=\"http:\/\/maryardensfarm.com\/\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mary Arden&#8217;s Farm blog<\/a> &#8211; If you&#8217;re interested in Tudor and Elizabethan daily life topics, check out this new blog from the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust<\/p>\n<p>* <a href=\"http:\/\/www.english-heritage.org.uk\/about\/multimedia-library\/audio-tours\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">English Heritage Free Sites Audio Tours<\/a> &#8211; English Heritage has put up mp3 versions of audio tours for their free sites that you can download. Be sure to check out some of the other goodies in their multimedia library!<\/p>\n<p>* <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/today\/hi\/today\/newsid_9502000\/9502946.stm\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Damon Albarn and the Elizabethan magical mystery man<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/londonist.com\/2011\/06\/the-mystical-artefacts-of-john-dee-at-the-british-museum.php\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Mystical Artefacts Of John Dee At The British Museum<\/a> &#8211; I don&#8217;t get a whole lot of hits on my &#8220;John Dee&#8221; news alert, so it was particularly surprising to get two in one week (even though they are related, prompted by a new opera)<\/p>\n<p>* <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/8560039\/Gunpowder-Plot-documents-among-millions-of-papers-put-online-by-National-Archives.html\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gunpowder Plot documents among millions of papers put online by National Archives<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.historytoday.com\/blog\/news-blog\/kathryn-hadley\/fourth-and-final-part-state-papers-online\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fourth and final part of State Papers Online<\/a> &#8211; I&#8217;ve linked to related stories on this topic in the past and it&#8217;s nice to see that it is finally complete. Unfortunately there still doesn&#8217;t appear to be a way for individuals to access it without an institutional affiliation (which I&#8217;m lucky to have through work!).<\/p>\n<p>* And finally, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=J1xA5jNnTGs\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mullions XP &#8211; Operating System For The Tudor Times<\/a>, a fun video sent to me by Stephanie through twitter.
