Happy New Year everyone! I would love to say that 2026 will be the year that I get back into seriously working on this site and getting my Tudor history groove back, but who knows if that will turn out to be the case. If nothing else, I’d like to finish fixing a bunch of the old posts that got scrambled when my webhost migrated a couple of years ago. That’s quite the chore, but I really need to get it done.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, here is the round-up of new books for the new year!<\/p>\n

Holbein: Renaissance Master<\/b><\/i> by Elizabeth Goldring, which came out a couple of months ago in the UK, is now out in the US.<\/p>\n
