Photo May 2015.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Something a little different this week &#8211; an evening view of the village and landscape out of the window of my room at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.collywestonslaterpub.co.uk\/\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener\">The Collyweston Slater<\/a> (highly recommended place to eat, drink, and\/or stay if you&#8217;re in the area!). Collyweston was the site of the grand house of Margaret Beaufort, although little of it remains today. Unfortunately I didn&#8217;t really have time to explore the area but since the village was in a convenient place along the route I was driving I couldn&#8217;t resist at least staying the night there. Hopefully I&#8217;ll have a chance to get back there and explore the area a bit more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Village of Collyweston in Northamptonshire, England.
