Photo May 2015.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>It looks like I haven&#8217;t actually used any of my photos from Castle Rising yet, so it was definitely time to add one. My visit there was in some of the worst weather I had on that trip, but that meant I basically had the place to myself! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>The castle dates from the 12th century and in Tudor times it passed to Thomas Howard, Duke of Norfolk and it has stayed in the Howard family ever since.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Entrance to Castle Rising Castle, Norfolk.
