The book is out March 15 in the UK and May 19 the US. If you&#8217;re in the UK and want to keep up with special events occurring throughout the year, check out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shakespeare400.org\/\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shakespeare400<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shakespearedocumented.org\/\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shakespeare Documented<\/a> &#8211; Celebrating 400 years of William Shakespeare with an online exhibition documenting Shakespeare in his own time. The partners in this exhibition include The Bodleian Libraries at the University of Oxford, The British Library, The Folger Shakespeare Library, The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, and The National Archives. The exhibition will continue to expand throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.folger.edu\/exhibitions\/shakespeare-life-icon\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shakespeare, Life of an Icon<\/a> opened January 20 at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.folger.edu\/\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Folger Shakespeare Library<\/a> in Washington DC and will run through March 27. This is the first of three exhibitions they will put on, in addition to other events, during their year-long <a href=\"http:\/\/www.folger.edu\/the-wonder-of-will\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wonder of Will<\/a> celebrations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bymewilliamshakespeare.org\/\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">By me William Shakespeare: A Life in Writing<\/a> opened at the National Archives on February 3 and will run through May 29 and features <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bymewilliamshakespeare.org\/shakespeares-will\/\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shakespeare&#8217;s will<\/a> as the centerpiece of the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>Windsor Castle will host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.royalcollection.org.uk\/exhibitions\/shakespeare-in-the-royal-library\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shakespeare in the Royal Library<\/a> from February 13 through January 1, 2017 and includes works of Shakespeare collected by the royal family, accounts of performances at Windsor Castle, and art by members of the royal family inspired by Shakespeare&#8217;s plays.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hrc.utexas.edu\/\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Harry Ransom Center<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.utexas.edu\/\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The University of Texas at Austin<\/a> launched <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hrc.utexas.edu\/exhibitions\/2015\/shakespeare\/\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shakespeare in Print and Performance<\/a> on December 21, 2015 and it will run through May 29, 2016.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rcplondon.ac.uk\/events\/scholar-courtier-magician-lost-library-john-dee\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Scholar, courtier, magician: the lost library of John Dee<\/a> opened January 18 and will run through July 29, 2016 at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rcplondon.ac.uk\/\" target=\"new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Royal College of Physicians in London<\/a>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Even with an extra day in February this year, it seemed to fly by!
