Through the children of Margaret Tudor's second marriage, Darnley was heir to the throne of Scotland after Mary Queen of Scots (his cousin), whom he married in 1565. Implicated in the murder of David Rizzio. Father of James VI/I. Murdered at Kirk o' the Field.
