RECOMMENDED READING

This is a recommended reading list from a college course on Tudor History that I took in the early 1990s. Most of these books are rather scholarly and analytical, but there are some that are nice for recreational reading as well. I have made a few additions and subtractions from the original list. The listing is in rough chronological order from the reign of Henry VII to the reign of Elizabeth.

I also have some recommended reading on the Student Help page.
