Since today is the anniversary of the birth of James VI/I at the castle, I thought we’d go back to Scotland for this week’s photo.
I just discovered your blog and really enjoy it. I am an American graduate student and am in Portsmouth right now doing some work for my final thesis project. I have always been fascinated by British history, so I am developing a curriculum using maritime art as a gateway to Early Modern British History. I wish I would always be able to visit the places you show us. Thanks!
