There used to be an oh-so-touristy Elizabethan banquet held in the Old Palace. Yea…I went, and hokey as it was, the evening was grand. Elizabeth herself ruled over all, the costumes were tremendous, and the music was as authentic as 21st century instruments could make it.
I had a brochure for those banquets and was planning to do one on a visit but I couldn’t fit it in. If nothing else it would be worth it to be able to go in to the building and not just peek in to the little open section. Both of the times I was there they had everything set up for the banquet and it sounds like fun!
