USA Today - Showtime orders more tales from ‘The Tudors’

Most of the rest of the articles seem to basically be excerpts from the press release, so I won’t bother linking to more… yeah, I’m lazy tonight. :)

Finally tracked down a picture of ‘Jane Seymour’. From the side view, she looks to be a real stunner….which really wasn’t the case. But then, nobody said this series is historically accurate!

Finally watched the entire first season via DVD. Now can’t wait for season two to be released. Such fun to take a day and veg with Henry and all his court.

I love the show and sometimes I get frustrate with just how historically inaccurate it is BUT in all its a great show. They couldn’t have picked a more handsome Henry!

Do you know…this is the first program about Hal and his family that I have just totally ignored all the historical ‘wrongs’. I’m enjoying it just for the scenery, the costumes, the sets, and the guilty pleasure of a cast of good-looking Tudorites.

Usually, any drama about The Tudors causes me to throw up my arms and scream “NO!!!! That’s not right!!!”….but not this one. Tis known it’s going to be incorrect from the get-go so I’m actually having a good time with it.

I’m really wondering what they are going to do once they start reaching the later wives. Are they going to age and fatten up Henry? I’ve been enjoying it so far…and trying to ignore the glaring errors, but I don’t think I could ignore a hot, slim Henry with Katherine Howard.
